CrewCom® offers excellent voice quality, the most compact full-duplex wireless beltpacks on the market, and countless features.
IN SHORT :
- FHSS technology (continuous change of transmit frequency)
- Each CPU supports up to 50 beltpacks across all RF bands (18 in normal mode and 32 in high density mode)
- Intuitive interface with a large, informative backlit LCD screen
- Simultaneous 2-wire and 4-wire intercom connections
- Extended Duplex LC Single Mode and Cat 5e or higher Fiber connections via CrewNet
- LAN port for connectivity via computer network with dedicated CrewWare software
- “Stage Announce” audio output
- AUX input/output for program input and intercom audio output
- GPO dry contact relay (x 5)
With CrewCom®, production teams large or small can easily, quickly and reliably deploy communications solutions to connect more people in even more locations. CrewCom® is designed to handle almost any application, from the simplest systems to the most complex developed on a large scale, in varied professional environments.
The Control Unit (CU) is the fundamental element of a CrewCom system that establishes the infrastructure based on a CrewNet* network, while providing external connections to other commonly used professional intercommunication systems. The CPU does not contain any antenna or radio transmitter (which makes it insensitive to radio frequencies) and can therefore control and monitor any device present on the CrewNet, regardless of the radio frequency bands used. With the combination of CrewCom radio transceivers, each CU can manage up to 50 beltpacks (18 in normal mode and 32 in High Density mode), on all available RF bands.
The CCU-44 has 4 2-wire channels and 4 4-wire channels.
Also available in 2-channel 2-wire + 2-channel 4-wire version: PFPLCCU-22
(*): CrewNet is a proprietary, robust and reliable network designed specifically for the requirements of critical communications environments. It is the backbone of the interconnection between all CrewCom devices, the true keystone of the decentralized network architecture. It is possible to deploy a CrewCom system over a very large coverage area through CrewNet using Cat 5e cables (up to 100 m) and/or Single Mode fiber (up to 10 km).
